AERIN SUTHERLAND

Aerin Sutherland is a Melbourne-based actor who has recently graduated from Theatre Arts training at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS), where she has received multiple performance awards and industry recognition. Her recent stage work includes Ophelia Thinks Harder (VCASS), alongside lead and ensemble roles across classical, contemporary, and devised theatre. She has been shortlisted for both Top Class Drama and Top Class Theatre Studies (VCAA) and was the recipient of VCASS’s Major Theatre Arts Award.

Aerin has professional experience across both stage and screen, with multiple film credits demonstrating versatility in dramatic, heightened, and character-driven work. Her performance background is supported by training with NIDA and ongoing vocal development. She is known for grounded, intelligent performances, strong textual analysis, and adaptability across styles and mediums.

In addition to acting, Aerin has directing and acting experience at festival level and a background in scriptwriting and drama education, contributing to a well-rounded understanding of storytelling and collaborative process. Special skills include a range of accents, stage and screen combat, strong water skills, and experienced horse riding.
